Our FRESH MEX offerings feature a flavor profile developed by one of Oklahoma’s most renowned chefs, Kurt Fleischfresser. He is one of only four Americans, including Julia Child, to receive the prestigious Medal of Merit for his contributions to the Culinary Arts. Chef Kurt developed a new marinade and method for FRESH MEX: a special recipe Achioté spice blend with a big, bold flavor profile. The Achioté marinated chicken and steak are grilled fresh on a patented “steam jacketed” flat grill to lock in flavor.
Chef Kurt has also been instrumental updating and tweaking many of our long-standing and long-loved recipes, eliminating trans fats, reducing sodium levels and improving overall nutrition: 90% lean beef. No MSG. No lard.
